So, during the 50’s the cold war began, the Korean War happened, McCarthyism changed its first of many American citizens’ personal freedom, TV became popular, the American economy and population boomed, and we dreamed the “American Dream.” As Dickens said in the beginning of A Tale of Two Cities, “It was the best of times, It was the worst of times.”
