“Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening” by Robert Frost begins with admiration of the beautiful and tranquil woods. These two poems well written yet have completely different tones. “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening” has a calm, serene tranquil feeling through most of the poem until it is interrupted by the reality of life. “The Elk” is a bold, all to real, creepy poem from beginning to end.
