As I awoke from the sounds of a journalist, I noticed that it didn’t sound like the everyday Spokane news. I looked up at the TV, seeing the World Trade Center with thick black smoke coming out of the South tower. I thought that it was just a fire or something, but as I kept watching I saw the footage of the airplane flying into the side of the South Tower. Then I thought …showed first 75 words of 526 total…

…showed last 75 words of 526 total…struck by an aircraft as well, and that outside of Philadelphia there was a hijacked airplane that had slammed into the ground, and that the people on the plane had rushed the hijacker and slammed the plane into the ground to prevent yet another terrorist attack. Throughout the day in all of my classes the TV was tuned to CNN and MSNBC. I then knew that 9-11 is a day that we will never forget.
