“AIDS is considered one of the most devastating public health problems in recent history” (Frey 59). People usually assume that AIDS is a result of risky behavior such as unsafe sex or the misuse of needles, but there are many other ways one could intercept the disease. For many, unsafe sex and the misuse of needles are not socially acceptable; in turn leaving those who are infected feeling alone and often ostracized.
