Analyse and evaluate the social and economic causes of 2 of the 1848 revolutions.

It could be said that the reasons for the 1848 revolutions was the aspects of failure of the 1830 revolutions, also the fact that most European countries were economically backward apart from a few such as Britain and Belgium. Therefore in Italy political problems were more important than social and economic even though these did exist. The Italian revolution also had one defining factor to its cause which was the Austrian rule unlike the French revolution which was a combination of many factors, mainly economic and social.
