…showed last 75 words of 4422 total…misunderstood what Hughes was trying to say. He was noticeably someone who relied on his poetry as it was a way of telling the world how he felt. This I feel was what makes his poems so powerful and intriguing and fascinating. I therefore believe Hughes poems were more appealing to me as I found that they had so many hidden meanings .Also I felt that a lot of Hughes personality and character comes through.
