trying to depict sexist racial issues, but was not making any effort to hide the setting in which the play took place. Was it the intention for August Wilson to make that an important issue of the play to be presented to the audience? I do not know. I think that everyone from all walks of life deal with the issues of sacrifice and happiness on the same level as the next person.
