Unfortunately, it will always be a big deal when a “big” girl plays the lead role on a TV show, or when there’s a model over size 7 on the runway.
Until everybody rejects society’s set standards and truly realizes that beauty is all about confidence and loving and accepting yourself, then we’re stuck in a world full of stereotypes, image-based judgments, and unhappy people.
