Benihana is a steakhouse that was first opened in 1964 in midtown Manhattan. The owner, Hiroaki (Rocky) Aoki, president of Benihana of Tokyo, wanted to make his restaurant different then the typical. I think that if Benihana sticks with their plan and keeps up their reputation, it will be very hard for competitors to take over their market percentage. They started a creative business that attracted customers so maintaining with the same set-up will help increase their growth.
