The exact reason why this occurs is through effective advertising and brainwashing the viewers, but all we are left with is this feeling that sends hundreds of thousands of people to their local Carl’s Jr. to purchase what they just saw on TV, completely oblivious to the fact that they had just been indirectly told to do so.
