Introduction
When Carter entered presidency, he was faced with many problems within his first two months until the very end of his presidency. The main preoblems I
wish to focus on are as follows: The rise of unemployment, The increase of
inflation, and the energy crisis.

In summary of Carter's success, it is obvious that he was not a very
successful president, because the economy was still not in good shape when
Carter left office, but he was certainly not a failure. He was not a failure because
he did start new programs which the economy would later benefit from, he did
reduce the energy problem, and he also created a few jobs.
