Cell Assimilation by a Virus.
Viruses are tiny micro organisms, due to their size they are unable to be replicated independently. Therefore, when a virus is situated in a host, it has the opportunity to reproduce before it dies out.
This reproducing it achieved by the re-figuring the genetic makeup of the cell, allowing more viruses to be produced.
