I moved to Hong Kong when I entered fourth grade. I was ten, and too young to appreciate its customs and culture. Hong Kong gave me an early start to develop skills needed to deal with challenging situations. Thrown into a new environment, I learned to communicate and form friendships in a culturally diverse atmosphere. Hong Kong and basketball taught me commitment, determination and sacrifice is key to success.
