Upon visiting the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, I saw many different varieties of artwork. I feel that Henri Matisse fully achieved what he set out to accomplish. He wanted to make a difference in the world. Even though his later work turned away from the rough, loose, and sketchy brushstrokes, his strong technique of color usage continued to impress and encourage other artists to come.
