Snowmobiles in national parks should be banned. It is a cold winter morning and motorists wait in traffic while their sputtering engines are coughing a gray haze. The Carbon Monoxide threatens the health of the employees and the animals around. This alone seems like it is reason enough for snowmobiling to be banned. The NPS says that the main reasons that people visit the Yellowstone is to see the natural scenery, wildlife, and to experience tranquility, peace, and quiet all at the same time. This displays a contradiction since people (the visitors) end up leaving unsatisfied with their stay. When snowmobiles are eliminated from our national parks, employees, visitors, and wild life all will be able to take a fresher breath of air and relax.
