Every nation on earth requires goods and services in order to function. Unfortunately, all goods and services cost money, and in some cases, the nations requiring the products are not able to pay when they purchased, leading to debt. Overall, I believe that the forgiveness of debts will offer the best opportunity for foreign nations to advance and it is something that will at least partially correct our exploitation of them because we will not be holding the citizens and, in some cases, governments responsible for things that are not in their control.
