Imagine a future in which all books are banned and censored in an attempt to keep the human race from thinking for themselves. Bradbury cunningly begins to incorporate water into the story more so after Montag rebels against his enemies. An authors’ talent becomes obvious when he is able to make his writing work for him. Bradbury does just this with his use of poetic devices in the novel Fahrenheit 451 to generate the messages he wants to his readers.
