most children here that come from broken families, I did not turn to abusing myself through drugs or alcohol. I did not let my relationship with my dad get in the way of my academics. I have come to learn that my father has good intentions and behind his offensive actions, he does love me. Currently, I have a much better relationship with my father and we make an effort to communicate without the bickering.
