Firearms in America: An Invitation to Murder
Every 2 years since 1988, more Americans are slayed due to gunshot on their own soil
than the entire number of American casualties during the Vietnam War. The time has come that
we realize the fact that firearms are unnecessary to civilians and should be forbidden. While many
pro-gun activists allege that firearm issues need not be dealt with at this time,

be banished. Do we care not for human lives? Have we no conscience? Are we too selfish
to give up that hunting rifle, or that shotgun just because “it won’t happen to us”? Humans are the
only mammals that kill each other for no purpose, we have be blessed with the ability to talk and
discuss, why not use it? Many more lives would be saved and people would learn to be happy
again.
