Gender Bias

Gender biases have existed in society for a great number of years. Whether the biases demonstrated are accidental or not does not matter, it is the fact that they still exist in such great number. Toy companies’ products were observed in order to see how much these companies contribute to gender inequality. I researched three toys in the boys’ section of an anonymous store. …showed last 75 words of 649 total…this. Though not always blatant, gender biases are still prevalent throughout the toy stores. Little kids are too young to be able to look and see these biases. Toy companies could be a little more sensitive to these problems. All it would take is a little change here and a little change there to make kids feel like they can go out and pick out any toy, whether a Nerf football or My Little Pony.
