reality. The one character that has the most reality in the play is Jim the gentlemen caller. I think Jim is the most realistic because he brings some reality to Laura, and breaks her out of her shell. We are not told that Laura starts to except reality, therefore we don’t know if she changes. To me the only one of these three characters who eventually excepts the reality of his life is Tom.
