Constitution is because the different role each of the two man plays in the
course of US history. For example, Lincoln was a president who is trying to avoid a Civil
War at all cause. And Douglas was an African-American who seek ways to free his
people. Nevertheless, I believe that both of them knows that regardless of how everything
turns out, slavery will be gradually do away with because it’s inhuman and
“unconstitutional”.
