We have learned a great deal in the field of genetics over the last century. Many scientists have spent their whole lives studying genetics. These scientists discovered many vaccines and cures for diseases. We now have a better understanding of how heredity, DNA, chromosomes, and many other things play a part in every life.

Jefferys invented doing DNA fingerprinting through electrophoresis. They use this now for crime cases and finding relatives. This field is still being expanded on.
Every scientist was very significant in the history of genetics. Each scientist built off other scientists’ work to make the field of genetics what it is now. The research will continue into the far future and I know many more diseases will be cured. It just a matter of time.
