Hitler’s Life Adolf Hitler was born on April 20, 1889 in a small Austrian village. His father was Alois Schicklgruber and his mother was Klara Hitler. Three of Adolf’s siblings died when they were children, one of them died right after birth. The family moved around quite often, when Adolf was three they moved from the Austrian village to Passau, where Adolf’s brother was born.
