Jose’s Café In the fall of September 2001, my dad and I, along with six of my friends and their dads, traveled south to a little city in South Texas named Cotulla. As an annual tradition, we go to Cotulla, partly to male bond, but mainly to hunt white-winged doves. Cotulla is known to hunters as one of the greatest places to hunt doves. The extra ingredients and the extra time it takes to prepare the taste bud craving food, must me the reason Jose’s Café is such a popular place to eat. The men and women’s dedication of making great Mexican food is why Jose’s Café is my favorite place to eat.
