Personally, I thought it was a good book. It showed the reality of war and death. With Remarque’s descriptions you could see the trenches and the men huddled inside in the worst possible conditions. You could feel the men’s pain just from reading the book. On a scale of one to ten I give it a 9 ½, two thumbs up. Thank You.
