Nativism is a dangerous idea. It keeps people from bring free and deprives them of there god given rights secured by the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. Lots of problems led people to believe that immigrants were the problem, which led to anti-immigrant mindsets. Its hard to believe that some people out there just don’t want foreigners here, be it because of there race or that they just don’t like them.
