The Chester Play of Noah’s Flood
Noah’s Flood is depicted very differently in the Norton Anthology of English Literature play version when it is compared with the Genesis version in the Bible. The Chester Play of Noah’s Flood is of course setup in drama format and the Genesis version in the Bible is in narrative form. is an example of the stories detail. The play depiction of the flood is leading in a different direction obviously than the Bible. In all The Chester Play of Noah’s Flood showed the Carpenters writings, the Prophets, the parting of the Red Sea, and many other events that will be marked in history for eternity. Because the arch that Noah builds is not only a miracle of God, but of nature itself.
