Of Mice and Men written by John Steinbeck is an intriguing and realistic tale about the lives of two men, George and Lenny, who travel together. Through their journey they experience many obstacles while trying to achieve their dream. Unfortunately they are not able to do so due to unexpected circumstances. In his book Steinbeck explores many themes such as the characters’ fears of loneliness and their fights to achieve their dreams.

I believe that what makes the book Of Mice and Men a classic is that anyone who reads it will be able to appreciate Steinbeck’s simplistic and realistic style of writing. Also it does not matter what age one is because all can enjoy it.
