Ironic, isn't it?
Everyone does not always have the same idea of a utopia in the book Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, but everyone sure does seem to have a good idea about what they like and dislike. The two main characters are dreamers from the start when Lennie, a mentally impaired person, wants ketchup for his beans. did not enjoy it. Now he has none and wants to be liked again. This is ironic because he knows what it is like to have the same dreams and fears, yet he still wants to have what he does not posses in his way of life. From the ketchup on beans to a private farm everyone will always want what others have, although they are nothing like them, or completely opposite. Ironic isn't it.
