Who needs televised debates? Presidential candidate George W. Bush used to feel the American public didn’t need prime-time televised debates. From my experience, I’ve only been able to watch a few minutes of these debates in the past. This format appears to be geared towards experienced politicians and those who follow the election very carefully. The average voter may not be able to follow the technical terminology used by the candidates. A simple talk show format may be the answer to these problems.
