With the defeat of the populists political movement, the democratic and republican parties and the state and federal governments believed that by supporting big corporations and economic growth all Americans would be better off. My opinion on that would be that if large corporations and the wealthy will create us with more wealth and opportunity that will benefit us all with jobs, money, and other opportunities for advancement.
