a result of this, Napoleon was drowned with power and pride, leading to hegemony as well as inflicting fear on the animals, through the relationships he had formed.
Absolute power corrupts absolutely after Napoleon takes over the farm when Old Major dies. It is seen that through his actions, language and relationships, he became a totalitarian dictator who was corrupted by power. Any amount of power corrupts, and too much power brings out the worse.
