Rocket Propulsion
When I first thought of rocket propulsion it sounded very complex and hard to understand. I could not image that rockets could move in space where there is no friction. This concept is easy to understand now that I know escape velocity and conservation of momentum. These elements are easy to understand once the basics are learned.
In order to send a rocket into outer space we must escape our gravitational pull. Earth’

be created or destroyed. As the space shuttle burns fuel momentum and kinetic energy are building up to propel the space shuttle in the direction it wants to go.
At first these concept seemed too hard to understand, but now that I’ve read about them it is not as hard as it seems. The only thing that really makes a rocket go is conservation of momentum. Once I understood this, rocket propulsion made since.
