The false pride comes to the end as both Capulet and Montague find their children dead side by side. They realize that their meaningless hatred towards each other was ridiculous and now they must pay the price at the expense of their children suicides. They reach out for each other for comfort and decide to end the hatred now amongst them in Verona and build shrines made purely of gold of both Romeo and Juliet.
