Sure, a parent may have to give up the Osbournes for an night, but watching TV with your kids is the best way to know what they see. Not to mention the valuable quality time and memories that can be gained from such practices.
Therefore government action is not the answer. Restriction methods are available if parents want them. It is up to the parents not the TV, or the government, to raise their kids.
