The Africans were treated as slaves mainly because of their skin color. England was the first country to bring slavery over to North America. Plus all of the economies’ money was drained into the war. Slave trade was very popular during this time period, for some countries more than others. It is interesting to see how each country reacted with it differently. Each country had their own unique way of using or avoiding slave trade.
