The measure being considered to stop incidents such as the recent fight downtown is totally unnecessary and unfair. There are other measures that would prove just as effective against such incidents that would still be acceptable to all parties involved.         Totally barring students for going off campus may solve the problem, but it would be punishing the students who have never been involved in or caused any problems. …showed last 75 words of 600 total…And for the student who has to go many distant places, they would be left without any type of efficient transportation and I don't see anyone coming up with an answer for those students.         This law is unfair and unnecessary. It would accomplish nothing and would cause way to much trouble. There is no reason to have a high school diploma to drive since it wouldn't make a new driver any better than without it.
