Sugar Farmers do not want to be treated more favorably than others, but treated equally. They want their fair opportunity to farm and make a living. On October the 4, of 2001, lawmakers opposed the Miller- Miller Amendment giving more freedom to the new Farm Bill. Hopefully, lawmakers will implement a Farm bill that will positively affect the U.S. farming economy.
