be incomplete. Stephen Hawking, a devout agnostic, says that the Big Bang Theory does not contradict the belief in a creator. Hawking says that someone must have created the singularity. I feel like Ferris should have made it clear that the Big Bang Theory is not anti-religious. Overall, I would say that this !
book is superb for its simplicity of language, thoroughness of subject matter, and its combination of math/science, history, and philosophy.
