I had no clue that many Indian children were practically brought up to be alcoholics because of their parent’s actions. Some even believe that it could be passed on genetically. The statistics of the consequences of alcohol use and abuse are outrageous in Indian populations. Alcohol use breeds denial as quickly in Indian country as anywhere else, but with a few cultural twists.
