“The Crucible”, A Fitting Name
The Crucible by Arthur Miller was named appropriately. Sitting through this movie was like being thrown into a crucible, over a raging furnace. This movie is just a boiling pot of screaming and wailing, people getting hung like Christmas lights in the middle of December, and then the whole bit about Jon Proctor’s name.

speech got a little to emotional for me, when all you have to do is sign a piece of paper to live. I thought I might cry like he did if he wouldn’t hurry and shut up.
The Crucible has it’s moments, but the cons of the movie outweigh the pros. The screaming, the hanging, and our “hero”, aren’t worth watching. Unless you can take the heat, don’t watch this movie.
