this book was for one searching for identity what group one belongs to- what one is meant to do, He also had an obsession with an idea (of serving his employer), I also thinks that he fails to live up to his responsibilities- disloyalty he also loses a lover and self respect that cause him sorrow that cause him to search for the truths about the world, about events, and about him self and others.
