without much affection towards others; however she needs attention at the same time. This is quite ironic, because she marries Troy for the attention and flattery, which he gives her. After the wedding ceremony, it’s seems Troy undergoes some changes, his attitude and affection towards her and marriage are suddenly completely different. This reverse, change of heart is basically the same thing that Bathsheba does to Mr.Boldwood near the beginning of the story.
