One of the major problems of contemporary society is crime. While the media may focus upon crimes of bodily harm, such as rape and homicide, most criminal activity involves unlawful acts against a person’s property. One such crime is unlawful entry, which is the focus of this study.
Unlawful entry, more commonly known as break and enter, is a major problem today. It is the entry to a person’s property (home or shop)

Today, people are starting to get more educated about crime, and especially drugs and the law. This will hopefully put a dampening affect on the unlawful entry crimes. Obviously combating serious social problems is a long-term issue. In the meantime, perhaps the most appropriate ways of dealing with urban crime is to increase the presence of police and continue to refurbish and renew decaying suburbs.
