made the choice of the International Law as a criterion, because it tries to define “officially” the concept of “just war” and because it is the document to which statesmen refer before engaging a conflict. Now, it seems clear that the coalition has tried as much as possible to respect the international law. As a result, I have come to the conclusion that the Gulf War was a legal war rather than a “just war”.
