What is America ?
Everyone has their own idea about “what America is”. Walden by Henry David Thoreau, Things They Carried by Tim O’Brien, Warriors Don’t Cry by …………. And The Crucible by Arthur Miller display aspects of society that are a part of America and its culture. Individualism, Diversity, Prejudice and Persistence are well represented themes in these books.

Diversity , Prejudice, Individualism are all characters of “The Crucible”. All the villagers only believed and practice the Christianity religion; and didn’t want to practice the witchcraft. All the villagers that had practice witchcraft have known as they has relationship with the Devil. Tituba is an good example of an Individualism in this book. She was the one who start practicing Witchcraft in the village.
