With the advent of the technology age, a report was made surrounding the “information highway”, and how it should affect all of Canada. The report is entitled “Connection, Community, Content”, and was put forward by the Information Highway Advisory Council (IHAC). The five terms; synchronous and asynchronous communications, holistic and prescriptive technologies, and reciprocity gave somewhat of a better understanding of the report, but even they could not fully reveal the report’s significance and true meaning. This report was flawed from the beginning, and should someday very soon be revised, as we are now in the new millennium.
