Homer’s view on human nature is depicted well in his characters. How a character is treated by the gods and seen by other characters, is insight to the way Homer views morale in human life.

not have done such things. Now Homer seems to believe that he is still a hero and yes he is, I just don’t think these are inconsequential actions in real life. Imagine if the situation were flipped. It would still be justified for Odysseus to murder the new husband or lover. It just seems that either way he gets to kill somebody and that is not a quality a hero should have.!
