When Oedipus could see with his own eyes, his mind was blind to the truth and even though Teiresias was physically blind, he was always able to see what Oedipus could not. Thus Oedipus clearly shows the imagery of sight versus blindness through the use of Oedipus’ ignorance, arrogance and tragedy.
